M y hands sunk into the sand as I popped my head out of the water. My mouthful of fangs retracted back into my jaw as I swallowed the leftover blood. Cander stood on the shoreline, looking sexy as hell in his all black biker outfit, with his arms crossed and eyebrows raised. "I take it you had a good time?" He asked as I waited for the tingling to stop and my legs to form.

I was still coming out of whatever haze I’d gone into, which was like a drunken blur, after the shark incident. My legs finished forming and I stepped out of the water, looking down at the blood mixed with water trailing down my naked body. I stood on the shoreline watching the weird blade things absorb back into my skin and my claws go back to my usual looking manicured nails. I resemble something out of a horror movie, yet every time I changed it felt like the most natural thing. The demon life fits me. It just sucked that it did.

"You killed a shark?" Cander asked, pointing out to the water. I looked back to see a shark bob up to the surface and ride the gentle waves.

I cleared my throat from the weird feeling of my gills closing. "I think I killed two." I looked back to see another dead shark pop up next to the first.

"HOLY SHIT, KIRA!! What did you do?" Ian's voice broke my concentration off of my kills and brought me back to reality. I looked over to the rock where he stood staring at me with his eyes bugging out of his skull. I sighed.

Before I could say anything Cander took a step towards me, crossing his arms again as his eyes turned red. "She did what she had to do."

Ian looked between Cander and me before shaking his head and walking up to grab my hand. "Come on, the ritual is about to start." He started pulling me towards the rock as it opened. I stumbled still getting used to being on my legs, as well as keep up with him. "I'll take you to your room to get ready." Ian looked back at me, staring openly at my bouncing breasts. I put my free hand over them as I yanked my other hand free from his.

"I can walk by myself, Ian !" I hissed. I felt irritated and annoyed just seeing him. It was clear the feelings I thought I felt towards him...wasn't love.

"Yeah?" He slowed and fell back into step with me as we entered the tunnels before looking back to Cander, who followed with heavy footsteps. "Then I'll walk with you."

I rolled my eyes, really not in the mood for the boyfriend part of this plan. "This, she is mine shit, has to stop! I'm not going to put up with you acting this way forever!"

Ian turned his red eyes on me but before he could say anything, I continued. "I mean it, Ian!
